OKC Thunder may have something special planned for Russell Westbrook, hints Sam Presti

Oklahoma City Thunder General Manager Sam Presti has confirmed the franchise is working on plans to honor Russell Westbrook following the point guard's announcement of his retirement from the NBA. Westbrook announced the end of his 18-year career via a video posted to his social media channels.

Westbrook spent 11 seasons with Oklahoma City, winning an MVP award and becoming the franchise's all-time leader in points, assists, and triple-doubles. In addition to the Thunder's forthcoming recognition, Westbrook will also be honored by the OKC Memorial & Museum on November 2.
