Sheffield Wednesday are hoping that their summer signing can return to full fitness by the time they are back after the international break.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen hopes defender Sil Swinkels can rejoin full training during the second week of the international break. The 22-year-old center-back has missed the Owls' last four matches due to injury after signing a three-year permanent deal from Aston Villa during the summer window.
Swinkels has made four appearances across all competitions for Sheffield Wednesday this season. The South Yorkshire side currently sits second in the League One table behind Bradford City, relying on defensive options such as Liam Cooper and Gabriel Otegbayo during Swinkels' absence.
