Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde but face potential competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for the player.
Manchester United have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde ahead of the January transfer window. The Catalan club has set an asking price of €40 million for the 22-year-old, though United could face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.
Barcelona are seeking to sell Balde to address financial difficulties and comply with Financial Fair Play regulations. The defender has made only one brief appearance this season under manager Hansi Flick, making him an expendable asset despite previous interest from Michael Carrick.
