Miami Dolphins third-year pass rusher Chop Robinson announced he will begin wearing a padded Guardian Cap during games to protect against future head injuries. Robinson missed Miami's recent loss to the San Francisco 49ers after sustaining a concussion during practice leading up to the game, which he described as simply a football hit.
The injury marked Robinson's fifth documented concussion overall and his third since joining the Dolphins. Seeking to safeguard his long-term health and future with his family, Robinson elected to adopt the extra head protection as the team prepares to face the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium.
