Middlesbrough summer signing report cards – One A* as new boys settle on Teesside

Middlesbrough brought in 12 new players during a significant summer squad overhaul under manager Kim Hellberg. Through the first eight league matches, forward Will Lankshear has established himself as a key contributor by scoring eight goals in all competitions, including six in the Championship.

Other summer arrivals have also made early impressions, with Brighton loanee Amario Cozier-Duberry recording two goals and an assist across his first three league appearances. Meanwhile, United States international Sebastian Berhalter has produced two goals and two assists through his first ten matches, and Jeremy Sarmiento joined permanently following a £3.2m transfer obligation.
