R360 rebel series given ultimatum on overdue accounts

AOTG Sport, the company behind the proposed all-star rugby union series R360, has been issued a strike-off notice by Companies House to publish overdue accounts within two months or face being dissolved. The company stated that the delay was due to an accounting error and expects to resolve the issue early next week, maintaining that the competition remains scheduled to launch in 2028.

R360, publicly fronted by former England international Mike Tindall, previously postponed its original October 2026 launch following resistance from major Test nations and lack of ratification from World Rugby. Several national unions, including England, Ireland, and Scotland, announced bans on selecting participating players, prompting stars such as George Ford and Fin Smith to remain with their clubs.
