Meet West Brom’s first ever women’s under-18s squad

West Bromwich Albion have launched their first-ever women's under-18s squad, which begins competitive play this season. Managed by former Everton and The New Saints coach Jodie Williams, alongside assistant Aaron Bryan, the newly formed team is set to debut away against Wellingborough Town Ladies on Saturday morning in the JPL Warriors League.

The team will compete in the league's white division alongside regional opponents including Kidderminster Harriers and Rugby Borough. The creation of the 16-player squad forms part of club owner Bilkul's strategy to strengthen the women's pathway and bridge the gap between academy ranks and the senior team.
