Aston Villa international break tracker: Call-ups, results and fitness updates

Aston Villa have nine senior players away on international duty during the September and October break under manager Unai Emery. Goalkeeper Zion Suzuki returned to Japan training following a rib injury that kept him out of a 3-1 victory against Uruguay. Meanwhile, defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka played the full 90 minutes in a three-man defense to help DR Congo secure a 2-0 win over Equatorial Guinea.

Several other Villa players are scheduled for upcoming fixtures, including Matty Cash for Poland, Victor Lindelöf for Sweden, Matteo Ruggeri for Italy, and both Nicolas Jackson and Ibrahim Mbaye for Senegal.
