Texans Officially Rule Out Five For Week 3, Including WR Nico Collins

The Houston Texans officially ruled out five players for their Week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Wide receiver Nico Collins is among those sidelined due to a hamstring injury sustained in practice prior to Week 2. Safety M.J. Stewart, linebacker Jake Hummel, guard Ed Ingram, and edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney have also been ruled out for the contest.

This absence marks Collins' second consecutive missed game. Collins has caught seven passes for 75 yards and one touchdown across one appearance during the 2026 season. Previously, the 27-year-old receiver signed a three-year, $72 million extension with Houston, which restructured his deal in each of the past two offseasons.
