Bath Rugby will be without new signing Jamie Bhatti for several months after the Scotland international suffered a forearm injury. Bhatti sustained the injury during a preseason friendly victory against Glasgow. Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan confirmed that the 33-year-old required surgery.
Bhatti joined Bath this summer alongside No. 8 Dan du Preez as one of the club's key additions. Van Graan expressed disappointment over the setback, noting Bhatti's eagerness to begin the campaign while hoping for his swift return to action.
