I don’t expect ‘panic buy’ Nick Woltemade to return to Newcastle United even if he stars for Juve

Former Newcastle United and England winger Chris Waddle stated he does not expect striker Nick Woltemade to return to Newcastle, despite his temporary loan move to Serie A club Juventus. Woltemade joined Juventus at the end of the summer transfer window after falling down the pecking order under Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle.

Waddle labeled the £69m signing from Stuttgart a "panic buy" following Alexander Isak's departure, claiming the pace and mobility required in the Premier League did not suit the German forward's game. Woltemade has made four appearances for Juventus and is also reportedly drawing transfer interest from Bayern Munich.
