Attacker who left Ibrox this year could face Rangers soon as he flies out to fight for contract – report

Former Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo has joined Scottish Premiership side Hibernian on a training camp in La Manga as a free agent. The 26-year-old Wales international is aiming to earn a contract under newly appointed Hibs manager Marink Reedijk, who is seeking reinforcements in wide attacking positions.

Matondo was released by Rangers in March after registering eight goals and 11 assists in 70 appearances following his 2022 arrival from Schalke under Giovanni van Bronckhorst. After a brief spell at Norwegian club Brann, Matondo could potentially face his former team on December 5 when Hibernian host Rangers.
