CM: Milan expected to re-try Hojbjerg signing in January – why €10-15m could be enough

AC Milan are expected to renew their pursuit of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.com. Manager Ruben Amorim reportedly recommended the player during the summer and is keen to add a defensive midfield stopper to disrupt opposing attacks. Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is expected to back the manager with mid-season reinforcements to address missing profiles across the squad.

A permanent transfer fee of around €10 million to €15 million could reportedly be enough to finalize an agreement. Current club Marseille may be motivated to sell the midfielder due to ongoing financial difficulties.
