Official: Mancini leaves 10 Italy players in Coverciano ahead of Turkey clash

Italy manager Roberto Mancini has excluded ten players from the squad traveling to face Turkey on Monday in the UEFA Nations League. The FIGC confirmed that Honest Ahanor, Nicolò Barella, Diego Coppola, Samuele Inacio, Eddy Kouadio, Daniel Maldini, Gianluca Mancini, Massimo Pessina, Samuele Ricci, and Mohamed Ali Zoma will remain at Coverciano to undergo a specific training program.

The exclusions were necessary because only 23 players can be named to a Nations League matchday squad from Mancini's original 34-man group, with Nicolò Zaniolo having already withdrawn on Saturday. Staff members Massimo Maccarone, Cristiano Lupatelli, Giulio Nuciari, and Luca Bossi are also staying behind to direct the training sessions in Italy.
