Mathys Tel and Mikey Moore strike with the armband as Tottenham trio captain their countries in historic international week

Tottenham Hotspur prospects Mathys Tel, Mikey Moore, and Mateus Fernandes all captained their respective youth national teams on Friday. Tel scored a close-range goal while leading France Under-21s to a 1-1 draw against Iceland in Reykjavik. Meanwhile, Moore marked his England Under-20 debut with both the captain's armband and a goal in a 3-1 victory over Italy.

Fernandes also skippered Portugal Under-21s, though his side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Bulgaria. Other Tottenham players featured internationally, with Archie Gray playing 68 minutes in England Under-21s' 4-2 win, Lucas Bergvall playing ninety minutes in Sweden's 2-1 victory over Radu Dragusin's Romania, and Yang Min Hyeok featuring for South Korea Under-23s.
