What Man United must pay as Serie A giants make major transfer decision on key INEOS target

Italian club AS Roma has reportedly established a €100 million (£86 million) valuation for midfielder Manu Koné following past interest from several European sides. Manchester United previously viewed the French international as a prominent transfer target during their midfield overhaul, though a move failed to materialize after the club finalized other signings.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma previously turned down a €60 million offer from Chelsea and a €45 million plus bonuses bid from Atlético Madrid for a permanent transfer. The 25-year-old midfielder has started the Serie A season strongly, scoring two goals in five league appearances.
