Driver Left With a Bloodied Nose as Wild Pit Road Brawl Breaks Out At Martinsville

A pit road brawl erupted between drivers Brad Housewright and Chase Burrow following Heat 2 at the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway. Both drivers failed to qualify for the main feature after battling for the final transfer spot, which went to Chase Ratliff. The altercation escalated to involve crew members and left Housewright with a bloody nose.

Housewright accused Burrow of intentionally making contact with his right rear on the final lap, prompting him to confront Burrow post-race. Burrow denied any intentional contact or racing Housewright directly, claiming Housewright initiated the confrontation and grabbed a crew member.
