Dispute has emerged regarding UFC CEO Dana White's official role in the upcoming December boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Broadcaster Max Kellerman claimed during a Zuffa Boxing telecast that White is not functioning as a promoter, but is instead assisting Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh in a personal capacity.
White dismissed Kellerman's statements during the Zuffa 11 post-fight press conference, asserting that his team is actively promoting the event. White also pushed back against promoter Eddie Hearn, who had previously claimed White had no involvement in the Netflix-broadcasted card taking place in England.
