Trump’s weekend of sport continues as he fist pumps to chants of ‘USA’ at Presidents Cup in Chicago… before making joke about cutting his ’15-minute speech’ short

Donald Trump attended the final day of the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club outside Chicago on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Serving as the event's honorary chairman, Trump greeted spectators chanting 'USA' and addressed the gallery prior to the start of the Sunday singles matches. His brief remarks addressed previous media reports regarding an alleged request for a 15-minute speaking slot.

Trump's appearance followed his attendance at a college football game between Texas and Tennessee on Saturday. At Medinah, Brandt Snedeker's U.S. team entered the singles matches trailing Geoff Ogilvy's International team 10.5 to 7.5. The visit took place under enhanced security protocols overseen by the Secret Service.
