Fitzpatrick completes big win in France to continue amazing season

Matt Fitzpatrick captured a three-shot victory at the FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The world No. 4 entered the final round with a five-shot lead and carded a one-under 70 to finish at 20 under par, securing his 11th DP World Tour title and fourth worldwide win of the year.

Angel Hidalgo finished in second place at 17 under after posting a final-round 67. Eugenio Chacarra, Tom Vaillant, Matthieu Pavon, and Kristoffer Reitan shared third place at 15 under. The victory marks Fitzpatrick's first DP World Tour triumph of the season alongside three prior PGA Tour wins in 2026.
