‘I want a different type’: Portsmouth boss on why his newest international has no Blues future on the wing

Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho has confirmed that 22-year-old attacker Adrian Segecic will not play on the wing for the club anymore. Although Segecic started 15 games on the right wing last season and recently featured out wide for Croatia Under-21s, Mousinho stated that his best position is centrally as a number 10.

Segecic is currently Portsmouth's joint-top scorer with two goals in eight Championship matches this season. Mousinho praised his pressing and work rate in central areas, reaffirming his plan to keep utilizing the former Sydney FC player as an attacking midfielder.
