The U.S. fought back admirably at the Presidents Cup. But at the Ryder Cup next year, the Americans can’t count on a Sunday down-three rally.

The United States secured a 17-13 victory over the International team at the Presidents Cup at Medinah. The American team produced a dominant final day, earning 9.5 points in Sunday singles to just 2.5 points for their opponents to claim the title.
The event served as preparation for upcoming team competitions, with Jim Furyk serving as an assistant captain under Brandt Snedeker. Furyk will lead the U.S. team as captain at the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland.
