The St. Louis Blues have placed defenseman Calle Rosen and goaltender Georgii Romanov on NHL waivers to assign them to the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL. Romanov, 26, is entering his second season with the Blues organization, while the 32-year-old Rosen is entering his fifth season with the club after being reacquired from the Washington Capitals.
Alongside the waiver placements, the Blues recalled 2024 first-round pick Adam Jiricek and claimed defenseman Justin Barron off waivers from the Nashville Predators. With the roster currently exceeding league limits, Tyler Tucker is anticipated to be placed on injured reserve to help balance the team's active headcount.
