Soccer ‘trail blazer’ Cyle Larin lauded with key to City of Brampton

Canadian professional soccer player Cyle Larin was presented with the key to the City of Brampton by Mayor Patrick Brown on Sunday night. Hundreds of supporters attended the ceremony at city hall, where Larin acknowledged the mentors and family members who supported his journey to becoming a professional athlete.

Larin's mother, Patricia, shared reflections on his youth sports experiences in Brampton, while Mayor Patrick Brown praised him as a tremendous source of pride. The ceremony highlighted Larin's international career with Canada, where he has recorded 32 senior national team goals, as well as his club career with Southampton FC.
