Mystics vs. Dream Game 1 final score: Washington loses 92-77

The Atlanta Dream defeated the Washington Mystics 92-77 on Sunday evening in Game 1 of the 2026 WNBA Quarterfinals. Washington led 41-36 at halftime while holding Atlanta under 29 percent shooting, but the Dream took control during a decisive third quarter. Atlanta shot 62.5 percent in that period and scored 14 points off seven Washington turnovers to pull away.

Allisha Gray led all scorers with 17 points for Atlanta, while Rhyne Howard scored 12 of her 16 points in the third quarter. Sonia Citron paced the Mystics with 15 points, and Shakira Austin added a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Game 2 of the series will take place Wednesday at CareFirst Arena.
