The Vancouver Whitecaps played to a 3-3 draw against D.C. United in a Major League Soccer match at B.C. Place on Saturday. Brian White leveled the match in the 25th minute, Bruno Caicedo scored before halftime, and Thomas Müller added a third goal in the 72nd minute. However, Vancouver failed to secure the win after conceding twice from leads.

D.C. United attacker Nono scored twice for the visitors during the contest. The result marked only the second time this season that Vancouver was outshot in league play, with the Whitecaps conceding a season-worst 2.81 expected goals despite remaining atop the Western Conference.
