Odegaard stated that Silva lost his head and never apologized for the incident, while Norway defender Leo Ostigard argued the challenge warranted a red card. Ostigard also dismissed Silva's post-match remark downplaying the foul as normal football. Norway will face Portugal again in their next meeting on Sunday, October 4.
