The minor league season ended for the SF Giants last week, but there were some cool accomplishments along the way.

Two minor league affiliates of the San Francisco Giants earned end-of-season managerial recognition following the conclusion of their campaigns. Ydwin Villegas of the Single-A San Jose Giants won Manager of the Year in the California League, while Jacob Heyward of the High-A Eugene Emeralds earned the honor in the Northwest League.
Villegas received the award for the third consecutive year after guiding San Jose to a league-best 80-52 record and a Championship Series appearance. In his first season with Eugene, Heyward led the Emeralds to a 79-52 mark and a trip to the league championship series.
