Benjamin Nygren has had a difficult week with Celtic, but Henrik Larsson has at least given the midfielder something to smile about. Three defeats on…
Celtic midfielder Benjamin Nygren reacted to praise from club legend Henrik Larsson while on international duty with Sweden. Larsson previously stated that Nygren was the player from the current squad he would have most liked to play alongside, prompting Nygren to laughingly reply to Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen that it would have been awkward if Larsson had named someone else.
Nygren revealed that he has regularly paired himself with Larsson as an icon player in the video game FIFA to build team chemistry. Despite their mutual admiration, the Swedish midfielder confirmed that the two have never actually met in person at Celtic.
