Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur has promised that the Maranello-based squad will bring developments to the SF-26 “soon” after Charles Leclerc cited a lack of recent development as a reason behind their poor form in Azerbaijan.

Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur has promised that the team will introduce upgrades soon following a difficult Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc expressed frustration over a lack of recent car development after finishing fourth, while teammate Lewis Hamilton crossed the line in sixth place in Baku.
Leclerc had qualified on the front row in second but struggled with straight-line speed during the race, losing ground on restarts. Vasseur admitted Ferrari maximized their potential given their engine limitations and reduced chassis advantage, noting that upcoming circuits should be less demanding.
