Detroit Red Wings Set 23-Man Roster

The Detroit Red Wings have finalized their 23-man roster ahead of their season opener against the New York Rangers. The active group consists of 14 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goalies. Key roster members include Dylan Larkin, Alex DeBrincat, Lucas Raymond, and defenseman Moritz Seider.

To reach the 23-player limit, the Red Wings assigned goaltender Carter Gylander to the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins. Defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker was placed on injured reserve retroactive to September 24, while Andreas Englund was designated as immigration non-roster and forwards Carter Bear and Chase Stillman were placed on injured non-roster.
