Blue Jays Interested In Seiya Suzuki

The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly planning to pursue free-agent outfielder Seiya Suzuki once the market opens this offseason. According to reports from Mitch Bannon of The Athletic and Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet, the club is aiming to revitalize its underperforming offense following a missed postseason in 2026. Toronto is also monitoring posted NPB players Teruaki Sato and Kaima Taira.

Suzuki has recorded at least 20 home runs in four consecutive seasons and is coming off an improved defensive campaign in right field. In addition to outfield targets, the Blue Jays have reported mutual interest in a reunion with free-agent starting pitcher Shane Bieber, alongside potential interest in veteran starter Kevin Gausman.
