Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love recorded 21 carries for 90 yards and five receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown during a 36-30 road loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The No. 3 overall draft pick logged 26 total touches on Sunday, surpassing his combined volume from the first two games of the season.

Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur noted that backfield touches will depend on game plans and who has the hot hand each week. Veteran Tyler Allgeier remains listed as the starter on the depth chart but played behind Love against the 49ers, logging five carries on 31 snaps.
