The Atlanta Hawks have emerged as an interested team in Detroit Pistons All-NBA center Jalen Duren, according to reporting by Marc J. Spears on ESPN's "NBA Today." An NBA general manager identified Atlanta alongside the Milwaukee Bucks, Sacramento Kings, and Washington Wizards as potential trade suitors. However, neither Spears nor analyst Zach Lowe indicated that active trade negotiations between the Hawks and Pistons are currently underway.

Duren, who is 22 years old, averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds last season. A potential trade deal would likely require Atlanta to surrender valuable assets, with Lowe floating starting center Onyeka Okongwu and draft picks as a hypothetical package. Okongwu averaged 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds last season, but Atlanta has not formally offered him in any proposal.
