Former England midfielder Danny Murphy named Arsenal forward Kai Havertz and Joao Pedro as potential dark horses behind Erling Haaland for the Premier League Golden Boot. Murphy highlighted Havertz as a calm finisher who could finish among the league's top scorers if Arsenal continues to dominate matches and create chances for him.

Havertz has scored 26 goals in 77 Premier League appearances for Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta. Although injuries limited his playing time in recent campaigns, the German international is positioned to compete for the starting central striker role alongside Viktor Gyokeres when fully fit.
