The St. Louis Blues face early blue line roster disruptions ahead of their opening game of the 2026-27 NHL season on Friday. Defenseman Logan Mailloux is sidelined for eight weeks with an injury, joining Tyler Tucker on the injury report.

To address the defensive absences, the Blues claimed defenseman Justin Barron off waivers. St. Louis also recalled rookie defenseman Adam Jiricek from the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL to join the NHL roster.
