Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love is considered day-to-day as he recovers from a calf injury, head coach Mike Macdonald announced on Monday. Love missed the previous game against the Washington Commanders after sustaining the injury in practice. Macdonald noted that Love underwent extensive work Monday morning with positive results, opening up the possibility of a return in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Seattle's secondary remains shorthanded, with fellow safety Ty Okada currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury. In Love's absence against Washington, Rodney Thomas II and AJ Finley filled in, though Finley struggled with coverage and committed a key fourth-quarter penalty. The Seahawks will provide an updated look at Love's practice participation on Wednesday's official injury report.
