Spain national team manager Luis de la Fuente praised Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez ahead of their upcoming match against Croatia. Lopez is expected to start on Tuesday night after returning to the national squad following an earlier injury that sidelined him for the World Cup. De la Fuente highlighted Lopez's form, describing him as a world-class player who brings energy, intensity, and finishing ability.
De la Fuente also indicated plans to rotate his lineup against Croatia following Spain's recent victory over England. The manager noted that some regular players need a break to freshen up the squad, adding that backup players deserve an opportunity and will be fully prepared to compete.
