Chicago Bears veteran quarterback Case Keenum stepped in as a starter to lead his team to a 27-7 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football at Soldier Field. Keenum enjoyed a prominent role throughout the week's preparations before executing on game day.
The 38-year-old third-string quarterback had not started an NFL game in over 1,000 days prior to the contest. He had previously considered retiring before being recruited to join the Bears by coach Ben Johnson.
