With Manchester City found guilty of 114 charges, what does that mean for the current high-level players at the club? No one can be quite sure.

Manchester City are awaiting a decision regarding punishments related to 114 financial fair play charges. Despite potential upcoming sanctions and an expected appeal process, the club is reportedly unlikely to experience an immediate mass departure of star players such as Erling Haaland and Elliot Anderson.
According to the report, no players have clauses in their contracts permitting them to terminate their deals automatically following any sanctions. Players signed both before and after the 2023 announcement of charges remain committed under their current contractual terms as the club maintains its stance of innocence.
