Ronald Acuña Jr. has a ring but playing in a World Series is still on his bucket list

Ronald Acuña Jr. is aiming to play in a World Series on the field after missing the Atlanta Braves' 2021 title due to knee surgery. The 28-year-old outfielder and the Braves begin their postseason run with a National League Wild Card Series on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park.

Acuña drew motivation earlier this year after leading Venezuela to its first World Baseball Classic championship in March. He later supported relief efforts following destructive June earthquakes in Venezuela by donating aid and auctioning signed items, reinforcing his desire to inspire supporters back home through baseball.
