Celtic star scores to help national team maintain perfect start

Celtic forward Benjamin Nygren scored the opening goal to help Sweden defeat Poland 3-1 in the Nations League on Monday night. Managed by Graham Potter, Sweden secured their second consecutive victory in the competition. Nygren started the match in a front two and found the net in the eighth minute before being substituted for Hugo Larsson after 80 minutes.

The result placed Sweden at the top of their group, two points ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead of their upcoming match on Friday. Nygren received the starting opportunity as regular forward Alexander Isak has been sidelined due to injury alongside Viktor Gyokeres.
