Will Ferry revs up for Dundee United return as star shares ‘mini pre-season’ plan in Portugal

Dundee United midfielder Will Ferry is utilizing a warm-weather training camp in Portugal as a mini pre-season to regain full fitness. Manager Jim Goodwin brought the squad abroad, where they will face Dutch side PEC Zwolle in a friendly before returning to Scotland. The team will play a closed-door match ahead of their Scottish Premiership match against Hibernian on October 10.

Ferry's early season was disrupted by minor injuries and summer transfer bids, including an offer from Sigma Olomouc alongside interest from Celtic and Blackburn Rovers. Currently in the final year of his contract, Ferry has received a renewal offer from Dundee United but is postponing any decisions regarding his future.
