Newcastle United to raid Premiership club for key backroom team member

Kilmarnock head of goalkeeping Fraser Stewart is set to leave the Scottish Premiership club to join Newcastle United's under-21 coaching staff. The 37-year-old was headhunted by the Premier League side and will work alongside lead coach Robbie Stockdale, joining a Newcastle setup that includes sporting director Ross Wilson and assistant director of football Jack Ross.

Stewart spent four years at Kilmarnock working under Derek McInnes, Stuart Kettlewell, and current manager Neil McCann. His pending departure leaves McCann searching for a replacement, with Rangers academy coach Conor Brennan identified as a potential candidate.
