The 27-year-old midfielder remains under contract with Italian side Bologna until 2028 and emphasized his commitment to the club under manager Raffaele Palladino. Despite previously being intrigued by the prospect of playing under Derek McInnes, Ferguson expressed his full respect for Bologna while refusing to rule out a future return to Scotland.
