Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson has reiterated his childhood dream of playing for Rangers in the future, despite a proposed move to Ibrox failing to materialize over the summer. Speaking ahead of Scotland's Nations League clash with Switzerland at Hampden, Ferguson acknowledged finding the prospect of playing under manager Derek McInnes intriguing following his appearance at the World Cup in June.

The 27-year-old midfielder remains under contract with Italian club Bologna through 2028, where he currently works under new manager Raffaele Palladino. Although Ferguson confirmed he considered his options during the off-season, he emphasized his happiness in Italy and stated he remains committed to continuing his journey with Bologna.
