Ex-Rangers star Jack Butland delivers major update to Hull City fans in just four words

Hull City goalkeeper Jack Butland revealed he has returned to light training by posting "Back on the grass" on Instagram following surgery for an arm injury. The 33-year-old former Rangers shot-stopper joined Hull City in a £3 million summer transfer but is yet to make his competitive debut after suffering the injury setback in training.

Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic stated that Butland's recovery is progressing well under medical protocol, with hopes of seeing him join training by November or December. Meanwhile, the newly promoted side has collected eight points from their first five Premier League matches.
