Former Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel opened up about his struggles with retirement following a career-ending shoulder injury. Schmeichel played his final match in February during a 2-1 defeat to Hibernian before announcing his retirement in May upon the expiration of his Celtic contract.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, the former Denmark international revealed he has found post-retirement life challenging and misses the competitive nature of elite football. Schmeichel shared that he is currently taking coaching courses and expressed a strong ambition to transition into football management.
