Former Stoke City boss hints at dropping divisions for next job

Former Stoke City manager Gary Rowett has indicated that he is open to managing outside the Championship for his next role. The 52-year-old coach has been out of work since departing Leicester City after their relegation to League One at the end of last season.

Speaking to TalkSport, Rowett noted that he started his managerial career in League Two and wants a project where he can build and win matches consistently. Working recently as a pundit, he also shared his thoughts on the Championship expanding its playoff spots down to eighth place.
