Speaking on talkSPORT, Rowett stated that cultural issues had crept in before his arrival in February and noted that modern management often suffers when communication with owners is lacking.

Leicester were relegated to League One after finishing 23rd last season following a six-point PSR deduction. Rowett recorded only one win during his short-term spell replacing Marti Cifuentes, with Russell Martin subsequently taking charge in the summer.
